Accessibility statement
Accessibility isn't an extra here — it's the whole point. We want this site to be easy to use whether you have low vision, dyslexia, unsteady hands, or simply tired eyes.
What we've done
- Large text by default, with high-contrast colors.
- A dark/light mode button. Your choice is remembered on your device.
- A “Read this page aloud” button on every page, with pause, stop and speed controls.
- Simple navigation that's the same on every page, plus a “Skip to main content” link.
- Works with the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- No pop-ups, no autoplaying video or sound, and very little JavaScript, so pages load fast.
- Pages work when you zoom in to 200% or more.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We haven't had a formal outside audit yet, so we don't claim full conformance — but we treat any problem you find as something to fix.
Known limits
- The read-aloud button depends on your browser's built-in voices. Voice quality varies, and a few browsers don't support it. If you use a screen reader, you'll likely prefer it over our button.
- Screenshots in future guides will have text descriptions, but some fine detail may be hard to convey.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, please email [email protected] and tell us the page and what happened. We'll do our best to fix it quickly.
